Welcome to the 2024 Spring Registration

 

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.

Brea Little League offers seven divisions of play for boys and girls Little League ages 3 to 15.  Our T-Ball, Minor A & Single A divisions are non-competitive/instructional and teams are formed through player placements.  Our AA thru JRS divisions are our competitive/instructional divisions and players are selected through manager drafts based on player ability after attending player evaluations.

PLEASE NOTE  ALL PLAYERS WILL BE PLACED IN THE DIVISION THEIR LEAGUE AGE FALLS IN

NEW FOR THE 2024 SEASON

Tinny Bopper Baseball Division:

This season Little League International has expanded the age requirements and BLL is now accepting players that are Little League age 3 for our Tiny Bopper  Baseball Division.  This new division is specifically for Little League age 3 AND Little League age 4-year-olds that have never played baseball before and are joining Little League for the first time.  Games will be played once a week and players will receive a jersey, hat, pictures, and Trophy 

REGISTRATION FEES

The fees for this Spring 2024 season our fees are as follows:

*Please note prices will increase by $30 dollars after Jan 1st for all divisions but Tiny Bopper Baseball

*Early Bird Discount will be applied at check out 

  • Tiny Bopper Baseball  (First Year Players, ages 3-4yrs) - $65 
  • Tee Ball (ages 4 - 5yrs) - $200
  • Minor A (ages 6yrs) - $200
  • Single A (ages 7yrs ) - $200  
  • AA (ages 8 yrs) - $250
  • AAA (ages 9-10 ) - $250
  • Majors (ages 11-12) - $250
  • Juniors (ages 13-15) - $250

*All Players' League Age is determined by the child’s age on August 31, 2024

Division Breakdown 

 

LOWER DIVISIONS - Non-Competitive/Instruction based - developmental playing divisions with a focus on core skill development.  Game results are not recorded, nor are divisional standings kept.

T-BALL (4YR - 5YR)
- Beginner/Entry level baseball for young players
- Hits off Tee for the first half of the season then coach pitch 
- All players play defense each inning
- Score is not kept/no standings
- Gain an understanding of the fundamental rules of baseball
- 50 ft Base Path Distance

Minor A (6YR)
- Beginners division for league 
- Coach Pitch (If a player can not hit off the coach then a Tee can be used)
- Score is not kept/no standings
- All players play defense each inning
- Gain an understanding of the fundamental rules of baseball
- 50 ft Base Path Distance

SINGLE A (7YR)
- Machine Pitch Then Second half of season Kid Pitch
- Score is not kept/no standings 
- Continuous batting order utilized
- All players play defense each inning
- 60 ft Base Path Distance

 

UPPER DIVISIONS - Competitive baseball divisions that are officiated by an umpire where game results, player stats and divisional standings are kept.

DOUBLE A (8YR)
- Introduction into Competitive baseball/Instruction based
- Player pitch
- Umpire assigned
- Scoring and Pitch Cards maintained 
- Continuous batting order utilized
- 9 players play defense each inning
- Must attend one try-out date
- 60 ft Base Path Distance

TRIPLE A (9YR - 10YR)
- Competitive/Instruction Play
- Final "minor league" division
- Player pitch
- Umpire(s) & scorekeeper assigned
- Scoring and Pitch Cards maintained 
- Continuous batting order utilized
- 9 players play defense each inning
- Must attend one try-out date
- 60 ft Base Path Distance

MAJORS (11YR - 12YR)
- Competitive/Instruction Play
- Umpire(s) & scorekeeper assigned
- Scoring and Pitch Cards maintained 
- 9 Player batting order with player substitutions
- Must attend one try-out date
- 60 ft Base Path Distance

 

JUNIORS (13YR - 14YR)
- Competitive/Instruction Play
- Umpire(s) & scorekeeper assigned
- Full baseball rules (lead-off/steal, pick-off)
- 60.5 ft Pitching Distance / 90 ft Base Path Distance
- Scoring and Pitch Cards maintained 
- 9 Player batting order with player substitutions
- Must attend one try-out date

 

 

 

GAMES

  • Tee Ball thru Juniors teams will have approximately 14 games (weather permitting). 
  • Our new Tiny Tots Tee Ball division will have 1 game per week.
  • Non-competitive and semi-competitive divisions (Tee Ball through Single A) may have more games, depending on scheduling capabilities and field availability.  
  • Games will be scheduled at Murphy Ranch, Orchard Dale, and possibly at other District 56 fields.

 

PRACTICES

  • Tiny Bopper  Baseball, Tee Ball, and Minor B will have a minimum of 1 practice per week for 60 minutes.
  • Single A thru Juniors Division teams practice one to two times a week minimum
  • Practice days vary and are dependent on manager's schedule and availability.   

 

UNIFORMS & EQUIPMENT

All players in Tee Ball thru the Juniors Divisions will be receiving a jersey ,pants, socks, hat,  pictures, and a trophy/medal  

The league does not provide the equipment listed below.  Each player is required to provide their own following equipment:
-Baseball Glove
-Baseball Bat (USA Approved/Stamped Bat)
-Baseball Helmet
-Cleats
-Protective Cup (for boys)

In order for your child to participate in Brea Little League they must attend school in Brea our reside in  Brea Little League Boundaries Per Little League International website 

 

Little League International imposes strict boundary rules for player eligibility in any little league. Failure to verify that you either live in the Brea Little League boundary as outlined in the map below or your child attends a school within the Brea LL boundary as outlined below can result in your child being unable to play in our league for regular or post season (all stars) activities.

Brea LL  does not have any authority to grant exemptions to the boundary rule.
